INTRODUCTORY PROFESSIONAL COOKERY
This programme is suited to people wishing to gain employment in the hospitality industry to develop sound basic hospitality skills that lead towards training at a higher level. Students learn the base skills and the appropriate cookery, food handling, hygiene skills and the qualifications required for employment as a bakery assistant, Cafe assistant, entry level cook, grill chef, and many more.

Student Loans & Allowances available if eligible
Students are provided with a wide range of hospitality related skills in cookery, food and beverage service. All training is undertaken in a practical 'hands on' environment within our training kitchen, cafe and restaurant, in-house functions and cafe service

Gain the knowledge to work in the hospitality industry as a Bar person or as a part of a team in Waiting staff. Develop skills to manage people and manage situations such as dealing with an angry customer, protect people and property within the establishment, and maintain a responsible drinking environment for patrons.

This programme provides the basis of computing skills suitable for staircasing onto higher level programmes or straight into employment. This extensive programme covers a wide range of popular Microsoft applications as demanded by industry. The assessment for a International Computer Drivers Licence is an excellent qualification for those students travelling overseas as it is recognised internationally.
Qualification: National Certificate in Computing Level 3

This short course is designed to develop coffee skills to a level required by local café, restaurants and wineries. This course is only delivered by FutureCOL and is in support of the local hospitality industry.
