BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION LEVEL 4
Aims and objectives
To provide students with the opportunity to develop advanced level all round business administration skills and computing skills highly sought after by today’s employment market. Students develop a sound understanding of both manual and computerised accounting programme; Payroll systems and MYOB, the appropriate IRD forms, Fringe Benefit Tax, GST and the understanding to manage the administration of a small or medium sized business. Course content is delivered as a practical ‘hands on’ course with students gaining the concepts of what is involved in running a business, completing all the administration paperwork involved, setting budgets, and reconciliation.

Entry criteria
No formal academic qualification is necessary, however in order to benefit from the course students must have at least a working knowledge of computers and/or have the NZQA Level 2 computing skills or basic bookkeeping skills to complete the Level 4 course content.
